The melt blown micro-fiber is self-bonded and forms a 3D pore structure. Diameter and density of the micro-fibre varies from the inner core to outer sections of the cartridge to progressively filter the water supply. Melt blown depth cartridges are designed to have continuously graded pore structure to provide both pre-filtration and final-filtration.  These filters have a high contaminant holding capacity, long life, low pressure drop and a high removal rating.
